Where has God been? Advent II

  • The incomparable love. The sermon touching the divide within us. It all brought peace and healing.
  • My church community. Meeting my friends in community. Loving the friends joined in worship of our saviour.
  • Strength to meet our needs. The isaiah reading.
  • Children were a blessing.
  • The wonderful choir and music that filled the church.
  • The music is wonderful: both sound opportunity and our small but powerful choir, piano, organ, violin, guitar, and percussion!
  • The singing was beautiful.
  • Love, fellowship and courage
  • God has been my security and comfort. He has helped me deal with the challenges of the week.
  • Praying for a friend who lost a neighbor in a house fire.
  • I am looking for a simple life and I was inspired to look for ways that are interfering with achieving simplicity. My heart was opened to the idea of a life shaped by beauty in others.
  • God answered my prayer, I had a wonderful letter from my grandson.
  • This day has brought in grateful thanksgiving and gratitude.
  • The music was amazing. Looking forward to lunch.
  • Thank God for his continued blessing on my family and for answered prayers.
  • God has been present in the connection with community through sound opportunity.
  • The quiet day to step away from business.
  • The gift of music – the voices on our soul’s journey.
  • Inspiring words from our leader. The blessing of voices from the guest choir.
  • Listening to the songs from the guest choir was very uplifting.
  • Prepare the way of the Lord with ‘new’ ideas escaping “old” ideas. Attend to Advent.
  • A new job. A birthday. A good grade.
  • Peace and more faith and God always listens.
  • God was with me this morning in the small daily challenges and overcoming them and giving me perspective. We are blessed that these are the only challenges we currently face.
  • Through jonathan words God reminded me that there are seasons in our lives when energy and hope are low but that such seasons pass in God’s time.
