We are pleased to welcome during worship March 5th our local Bishop Stephen London. Bishop Steve has been traveling around to every church in the diocese since his consecration in September 2021.
Bishops in Anglican tradition are our chief pastor and hold care of the spiritual health of the Diocese. Unlike some other episcopal traditions with bishops (ie. Catholic), in the Anglican world, diocesan bishops are the highest level of authority. Beyond them, any provincial, national, or international archbishops are 'structures of unity.'
After the 10am service, let's POTLUCK!!! Please bring a main dish or salad to share. Desert and beverages provided.
We will need some people to help set up tables Saturday 2pm and do dishes and clean up after the event. Even if you are new to the parish, please jump in!
